It's been said Sidney Lowe has picked up good recruits. I can only hope those who said such things are correct.

Well yesterday #25 Syracuse lost to a Div II team

A snipit from ESPN.com

"Johnson scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half, including a 3-pointer with 8.3 seconds remaining, and Division II Le Moyne stunned No. 25 Syracuse 82-79 in an exhibition game Tuesday night"

Especially Ohio State !!

Everyone is back for the Buckeyes except BJ Mullens who despite being a 1st round pick this year, wasn't all that much of a factor in most games for them last season.

The Kentucky Wildcats have looked less than impressive so far, needing a last second shot from topped ranked hs player John Wall to beat mighty Miami of Ohio. I think there is enough talent there to go to an Elite 8, but the fans thinking that the only close games would be UConn and UNC are getting a reality check.

It's still early, but UK could lose Bledsoe and Cousins to next year's draft (Wall and Patterson are defiantly going), so it could be a long season next year.

Michigan State looked less than the #2 team in the nation as well...but granted they did play a good (but unranked) Gonzaga team.

The Indiana Hoosier look nearly as bad a last year. I think the Tom Crean experience may not last much longer, especially since Marquette has looked great since he left.

The other big story lines thus far seems to be the Big East dominance (45-3 so far) and Syracuse great win over UNC after losing to a NAIA school in their first exhibition.
