I hope he doesn't. He might not be the best teammate in the world, but he can still ball. He helps make the Grizzlies somewhat watchable. Why wouldn't they start him, that team is going nowhere anytime soon why wouldn't they play him to attract fans...something A.I. does. If you are going to say they want to develop the young players, I can buy OJ Mayo starting in the NBA... but not Conley.
Good! To succeed, basketball requires teamwork and alot of practice. Which we all know he is totally against. Bye and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
His body may be talking to him - as you know, he's been known as the toughest player in the NBA pound for pound, and when you're 165 lbs, that's not such a good thing. He's taken a lot of pounding for a long time.
he seems to be a good fit for a warriors type system. to many small players there already but why not a trade for him and steven jackson. obviously the money has to be worked out with other players or what not but i could see it.
Awesome idea rigas, i would love to see an iverson, ellis, curry starting up front, however, the Grizzlies already have Rudy Gay (baller) but ya idk captain jack is more baller.
all the people who said he disrupts team chemistry, have you seen the grizzlies play? This team has NO chemistry, he is not disrupting anything. This team has no assists, just a bunch of ball hogs...hence i thought A.I. would be a good fit there...
AI was the man at his prime. With that Killer Cross over the NBA was forced to ban it. Thats the AI I know. The AI on Detroit last year was the shell of what he use to be.
I heard he wants to be a starter. But his body wants him to stay deep on the bench.
