This includes the atmosphere of the arena, crowds, lights flashes, movement in arena. Hostile in this case as more distracting to the other team.

From watching TNT AND ESPN AND ABC here are my personal choices!

I have only been too American Airlines Arena In Miami
And Amway Arena in Orlando. Not just during playoff times but these two arenas have a hostile environment.

My vote though was to Golden State. I remember in the playoffs and watching the Heat and Magic play there there fans were hardest on the ref's lol.

Detroit - The Palace at Auburn Hills
Dallas - American Airlines Center
Boston - TD Garden
Toronto - Air Canada Center
Orlando - Amway Arena
Miami - American Airlines Center
Golden State - Oracle
Sacramento - Arco Arena
Atlanta - Phillips Arena

I've been to the Q, Richfield Coliseum (old school), Arco, Oracle, and Skydome when Raptors played there (lol!). Oracle is just nuts, even for a 10-win team. Their game tonight vs the Kings was a sell-out for two bad teams. Oaklanders really love their basketball. I would also conclude that Oakland fans are by far the most knowledgable fans of any I've been to. They really know the game inside and out and jump on things that I think other fans would be slower to react to.

Arco's only crazy when their team is good. Same with the Q. When the Cavs were bad, it was a sea of blue seats. I haven't been to other arenas so it's hard for me to say exactly.

Oracle would get my vote for the 5 that I've been to.

Ahh that must be quite interesting. I have only been to thwe two hear. I noticed what you said though Oracle fans go crazy on any given night. They love their team. And like you said when the other teams start loosing you know it can be a so so night.

I picked The Palace at Auburn Hills but the Artest incident is getting old esp since he has made a quick turn-around since joining the Lakers. LA fans consider Boston as the most hostile going back to Bird & Magic days. People in Boston throw eggs & garbage at the buses transporting the Lakers and try to stop the bus from leaving the Garden.

So exactly why did they change from Bullets to Wizards again?

If they were really worried about that they would have changed the name to the Bethesda Bullets.
