Is it because Tim Duncan is the FACE of the franchise and he has a boring style of play and a personality?

Because with Tony Parker and Ginobli how the hel can the spurs be considered a boring team?

I despise everything about the Spurs...but then again I am a Suns fan so my opinion is a little harsh. I will say they are always darn good. I'm curious to see how the series goes with them if we get by the Blazers and they close out the Mavs.

They are actually supposed to have 6 titles. They were supposed to win it in 2004 and 2006

the spurs are "boring" because they dont play the suns game, or they dont have a kobe/lebron, they are boring because they grind games out and they get the win. parker, manu, and hill are VERY exciting!

The Spurs are to the NBA, what the Patriots are to the NFL. I hate both. I am, ahem, a Mavericks and Cowboys fan. I respect both though and can understand the perception. They do not have what you would call "flashy" players. No Lebron, Kobe, Shaq, Wade, types. No "in your face" types either. No big brawls on the court or off. All they do is win.....

I pull of all Texas teams, but I'm mainly a Spurs fan so....

GO, SPURS, GO!

The people who say that the Spurs are a boring team are people who just pick and choose sides, and usually, it's Suns fans or the teams the Spurs BEAT on a constant basis.

Simple: They play old school, fundamental style of basketball. No run'n'gun style like the Suns. No big time flashy superstars like the Lakers or Cavs, just good ol' fashion Xs and Os.

I'm writing here on the behalf of NBA.com and I thought this was a great link to illustrate Rigas' point.

Ginobili to Jefferson (http://youcastcorp.com/c/102/go/index.php?r=1 - broken link)

We have lots of other videos about the Spurs and the other teams in the NBA Playoffs so go check 'em out.
