I know this guy is Jason Williams, but after watching him with my team the Heat back in 2006, and now the Magic. What happened to "this" Jason Williams. Why won't the NBA let him be creative anymore?

Yeah he's with the Orlando magic in the playoffs at the moment. They don't allow him to throw passes or be creative anymore though...Just wondering why?

Jameer Nelson stands in his way. He is now a backup 1 that use to be as flossy as any point guard in the league.

He was never a "great" point guard and he turns 35 this year. That's getting old for most NBA players and especially point guards.

He is shooting a career high FG% this year and plays about 20min a game so he's contributing nicely.

Easy answer - turnovers. He throw the ball away to many times with the Kings.

His assits/turnover ratio are pretty good. Generally around 3-1 is decent.
However, his shooting has always been *poor* and as such, he needed to be even better in other aspects to succeed.

(Note however he has had a long NBA career and its kinda funny to call a guy out for being average in the NBA)
