Like can we just fire him and replace him with Patrick Ewing as head coach?

Can we pick him up for this upcoming season? or do we have to wait out some contract?

Word going around Atlanta is that He'll be fired outright. He was nonchalant and acted like He didn't give a damn when the Hawks got their asses kicked by Orlando.

He's definitely not leaving. Him and the franchise are already working on their game plan and "Lebron likes him".

I honestly have problems with D'antoni!!!! He is the official NBA player career ender!!!!! Plus i think he might be racist!!!!! What was the whole Marbury, Nate Robinson thing and i saw McGrady score 23 in his first game back only to play 11 minutes in his next game what was that about?

It would just bring a Knicks legend back to the garden. I think they should have done this a while ago but the timing for this isn't right and honestly they're not going to boot D'Antoni now.

Hey, I like Patrick Ewing as much as the next Knick fan. But let's be honest: the Knicks have taken some tremendous strides out of the Isiah Thomas Era, and d'Antoni has been a part of that. If Donnie Walsh wants d'Antoni as coach, then he should be our coach, period.

Things will start happening when you have a front office with a plan. (I offer in evidence the New York Jets). And I believe that Walsh has a plan. Let him implement it...as opposed to sniping at his decisions.

It's NY....you know the city that booed Ewing at the end of his playing career? The same ones that have booed and called out the Yankees and their players for not winning enough or being in a slump?

The NY sports scene is reknowned for constant criticism and unrealistic expectations from fans and especially the media.

With that said, rebuilding in that environment requires a very very thick skin since you are just constantly heaped with negativity.
