Default New Orleans/Baton Rouge Metro One Day?

What are the main areas the city of Baton Rouge is growing toward? Do you oneday foresee a Baton Rouge/New Orleans metro forming or is this already starting to happen?

Baton Rouge is growing south but I'm not sure if there is interest in this. We would have a long way to go before that ever happens. Plus, New Orleans would shadow over BR, not what should happen as BR is growing. New Orleans is self-sustaining and BR is also self-sustaining. I don' think I would even want to see this ever happen. Maybe a BR-Laf metro because it's a much shorter distance.

Some of us would like for New Orleans to keep it's problems at a distance . The murder rate for instance .

Can you show me some credible statistics that prove Baton Rouge has as high of a murder rate as New Orleans ? Go ahead , I'll be waiting .

Don't get upset. The murder rate won't be affected. Crime is just as bad in BR as it is in NO, plain and simple. And this far in the future, if the cities are prospering enough to grow into a DFW type metro, crime will improve.

Upset ? Not in the slightest . But , I do not agree on your opinion of crime in the two cities . There is no comparison .
