I'm from AL, have passed through BR many, many times and have met nothing but good people so far. On the negative side, I got pulled over on the freeway passing through last week, but first thing that happens is a introduction and handshake. I'm worried I did something wrong, but the officer was concerned about my safety after seeing me drift to the side a little. I made a new friend.
Since my good experiences here, I brought my family down to see the USS Kidd a few months ago and was invited to eat at the capitol by a gentleman whose name has slipped my mind, but he was proud of his LSU ring... and how y'all beat us Bama boys
Anyway, thanks for the hospitality Baton Rouge.
