Default Best way to get from New Orleans to the Baton Rouge airport?

Question: I have a flight on the 27th from BTR to PHX (the flight leaves PHX and arrives back in New Orleans a few days later). I need to get to the BR airport from New Orleans without my car. What are my options?

Thanks

Ride the Pontraplex commuter rail-oh wait..

There are cabs and shuttles I believe that make the trip to BTR daily.

I couldn't figure out if LA Swift goes right to a CATS terminal (or which bus goes to BTR).

what are the shuttles?

The CATS website shows which line goes to the airport and the LA Swift website should say if it goes to the main terminal or the airport.

I hate to ask the obvious question, but why in the world would you rather take a flight at BTR when you are near MSY? That makes no sense to me.

On topic... Easiest way to get to it just have someone drive you there by the interstate?

Because leaving MSY is $130 MORE than leaving from BTR (and the flight is much shorter)

There are 8 Swift buses that run from the Joy Theater to the CATS terminal in Baton Rouge. Where to go from there, I couldn't tell you.

Edit: There appears to be a CATS bus that runs to BTR, but you'd have to get at least one transfer to get there from the terminal.
