If you're not talking about panhandlers then what kind of people are you talking about? I've never been accosted by any "undesirables" downtown.

I work downtown. Once a week some crack head reeking of urine pesters me or one of my co-workers for money.

About 40% of Houston intersections have a bum on them. I get pestered everyday, in the good parts of town. Once a week is a luxury in a downtown anywhere.

Just making sure since you referenced downtown Houstons homeless situation when it doesn't relate in anyway to Baton Rouge.

Actually I didn't. I think you may read most of my posts wrong, is that why I never get a detailed response from you?

You say you didn't reference Houston? Please don't ruin this discussion. It's for Baton Rouge topics.

Thanks

Never referenced that.
However, it does relate to Baton Rouge and to this thread.
Getting asked for change by a bum once a week is a pleasure. You should be proud, sir.

I definitely agree w/ you on this. Sry to revive an old thread, but we have that same problem here in Lake Charles. Officials are too focused on the south side of the city. They neglect the decaying north and many vacant spots in the city limits.
