Shocking, they should have built a parking garage and a hotel on-site instead of on 30 itself.

Brooks Brothers?!! Either it's a fantasy tenant or they will end up buying out their lease, I can't see them staying afloat, Baton Rouge doesn't even have one.

The last thing the Tanger area needs is another hotel.

That's why I said "instead of."

Well, if BR doesn't even have one, there's even a more likelier chance it will be staying afloat. I'm sure BR residents and tourists will be frequenting the outlet. Great news for the Greater Baton Rouge area.

I don't think many people will drive to Gonzales to get Brooks Brothers $400 fleece pants. Towne Center? Sure.

If you're going to spend $400 for pants, then why wouldn't you drive 20 minutes if it's either cheaper or something unique? I could see it working. Who knows though.

I'm sure a generous 50% of Rougians have never heard of Brooks Brothers, which I'm sure would be much less willing to drive to an outlet mall in Gonzales to spend that kind of money. A Ralph Lauren store would work, don't think Brooks Brothers will.

I would think most clientele that would be willing to spend $400 on pants would know Brooks Brothers. It's not that exotic. Really? Where are you from? mod cut

How many people in Baton Rouge fit that demographic? How many of them go to Tanger to shop for upscale clothing? Not many.

So I'm in the minority on the idea that it belongs in the Mall, PR, or TC?
