I'm 24, single. Recently moved to BR, where are good places to meet women.

Probably the same with any city, depending on your level of spirituality... either church or nightclubs.

As an added bonus, with Baton Rouge being a college town, the word "campus" comes to mind.

Not trying to be funny, my friend, just honest.

Most of the clubs are good places. If you're religious, church can work for you as well. I believe Broadmoor Presbyterian used to have a pretty good singles group that met every Wednesday night. Check their website.
I've heard that the Wine Loft downtown is a pretty good place, but I also heard it's upscale. I haven't been.
And another good place would be to sign up for co-ed team sports, either with BREC or with a church, school, work, whatever. I have played softball, kickball and tennis and met some really nice and single people through those sports. More single, or just dating people seem to play those type of sports, although there are some married people as well.
Happy Hunting.

Yes, the grocery store!! And it's best to be as generous and helpful as you can. When a nice-looking lady is checking out the watermelons, canteloupes, etc you should kindly ask "would you allow me to squeeze your melons?"

Just kidding... don't do that.

the best place to meet women is either at a local single's organization, churches, or even online..if you don't mind looking around. Once you get a job and get established, do some networking...women outnumber men..you'll have no problem..and be yourself. Most women don't like unsincere men...there are too many of them now.

Couple of thoughts outside of the stock answer of "go to the bars:"

(1) The LSU Union offers leisure classes
LSU Union Leisure Classes

(2) LSU Department of Continuing Ed has some classes
LSU Continuing Education - Home

(3) BREC has some classes as well. I recall taking a tennis class and seeing quite a few 20 something females in there
Sports Programs

(4) Broadmoor Methodist had a really active singles group
