Looking for a house near LSU Vet School (Baton Rouge: to rent, houses)

Hi, my husband and I are looking for a house to rent in Baton Rouge starting in April. I'll be going to the Vet School, so we would like to be relatively close to that area. Does anyone have a suggestion on areas might be good (safe) or what websites are good to search on? Thanks!

Check out the Garden District, park Blvd, that area. They usually have houses to rent and it's a better part of town and it's close to LSU. Otherwise, check out the properties south of campus along Brightside, although some tend to be (or end up being) student properties really.
