Hi I'm a single mother and will be moving from California to Louisiana, I am planning on moving to Zachary but have heard that the KKK is active in this area, and I would just like to know what areas to stay away from when looking for houses to buy in Zachary. I don't want to move near someone who doesn't want my kind near them. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry about the KKK in any part of Louisiana, although they are still active. Just know that this isn't California.

Rarely. They have a far better quality of life despite some of the bat **** crazy liberal laws. Seattle was the worst.

Better quality of life , if you can afford it . I have a lot of family out there and when I visit it's amazing how much things cost and don't get started on the price of housing .

Right but you will get paid more than here.
It's relative but boils down to politics in the end. At least I'd say so. There are also different opportunities available due to their more diverse economy.

Hmmmm I wasn't aware the KKK is still active in Louisiana. I wonder where because it doesn't seem to be in the news. People here do mix better than in California or New Jersey which are very segregated and most people stick to their own ethnic communities.

There are some things to be concerned about living in Zachary such as floods, some crime, not that many high paying jobs...KKK activity should be the least of your worries. I don't doubt they could have some people in the area that are in the KKK but I've never heard of anyone in the last 5 decades that has been harmed by their activities. My sister lived for 15 years in Zachary and liked it.
