Default Baton Rouge Gay and Lesbian Film Festival?

Does anyone know why it seems that Baton Rouge stopped holding this annually? As far as I know, it was done in 2005 and 2006 (in the late summer or fall) and then I didn't hear about it again. Was there not enough participation? Not enough funding? It's a shame.

You got me here. From what I could read concerning it, I thought the festival did really well in it's inaugural run. I doubt it would have ended because of participation or funding, although I read somewhere that there was a backlash around here against Chase (bank) for providing financial support to it a year or so back. Maybe someone else will know more about its fate.

Whoa, I didn't know about that. I shouldn't be surprised, though.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully there's someone else floating around here who can offer more insight, too.
