Default cheap hotel/motel/hostel near to LSU?
Hi wonder anyone could offer some information on cheap and safe hotel/motel/hostel near to LSU? Or any website to search such information? I am relocating to BR next month. A friend is driving along and looking for places for a few days' stay. The budget is <= $100 per night if possible......

Check your regular places, Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity and individual hotel chain web pages.
I can say, stay away from Motel 6, and The Baymont. LaQuinta on Acadian actually wasn't a bad hotel a few years back. I had relatives stay there and were quite happy. It's about 2 miles from campus.
Lod Cook is on campus but it'll be over the hundred mark. So will the downtown hotels.
