WBR schools aren't the best, but they are acceptable by Louisiana standards. Brusly High is better than Port Allen High. But they are both better than the schools in the Broadmoor and Sherwood Forest areas. Those schools used to be great but they have gone down along with the neighborhoods they are located in. But out of all your options, Zachary does have the best schools.

hit or miss? baton rouge is a definate miss with public schools. no question.
you have to go private or move to zachary or central. there is nothing wrong with livingston/ascension schools, just your commute will be harder.

go with zachary. ranked no.1 in public edu. multiple times, easy commute to north baton rouge. has everything you really need. walmart. home depot. office depot. plenty of restraurants... and some small specialty shops. a movie theatre has been planned to be built there.
