Foxys Fitness
Does any one belong to this health club? If so how much is membership for one adult with 2 small children?
I called and they will not give me prices over the phone, they want me to come by and pre-view the club and then discuss membership options. I just a direct answer instead of a sales pitch from the staff!
Trying to decide if a club like this with a pool is worth it over the YMCA at Old Hammond ($73 a month!).

FOXY is overrated. I once belonged to them, and while they were one of the larger establishments, they had older equipment when I was there.

I agree with BRman. I once belonged to Foxy's too, they are highly overrated, and the equipment is very old, plus it's not very big at all.

The Y is by far your best bet they have several locations all over town and are the least expensive. You can go to any location and not be stuck with only one place .

The downtown Y is pretty nice (I think it opened in 2001). There is also a Y at Perkins near Siegen that is newer. The Y at Perkins near Essen hasn't been well maintained from what I've heard.
