Whers a good place to bring your car
to have an oil change, tire rotation and balance, fuel injection and throttle body? *well thats what the dealership is saying I need
I will also need them to look at my roof (have a convertiable) b/c its leaking a little.
The dealership wants to charge me an arm and leg but I want to go to someone who is trustworthy and does a good job for a price that is resonable.

I strongly recommend AGCO. You can hear the owner on a call-in show on WJBO (AM 1150) every Saturday morning at 10:00.
What do you think is a reasonable price? Most car repair places work on the same labor schedule, which is about $75/hour.

Depends on the dealership, of course - some dealers I've been happy with their service, while one of the Ford dealerships in town I don't think is that great. If you do NOT want to deal with dealers, Gordon and Sandifer (Perkins near Acadian) has a good reputation.

Rotation and balance? Next tires you buy I would recommend Sam's club. You will get free rotation and balance for the life of the tires. Oil Change? That will depend on what side of town you're on. Just make sure you know what oil they should be using and you might even go and ask some of the customers how long they have been going to them and what trouble they may have had with them. Fuel injection and/or throttlebody? I would take it to a performance car shop that can also change settings to your computer. Again I would find a prospective place and ask any available customers about their experience with them. Basically we have enough specialists in the area that I wouldn't settle for a one size fits all shop. It's no different than when you have a medical problem. Don't bother with a GP unless your pressed.

I usually use Benny's Car Wash Express on Coursey for my oil change. They usually have specials, they are fast, and they actually put in the weight that I ask them to use. Rapid Lube on Essen is family owned and operated and they do like wise, plus they are just good decent folks. I haven't had to use them for anything else however.

The 5 min oil change on Oneal is where my wife goes and she couldnt be happier with the way she and the kids are treated there. And they mean it. 5 mins or less.
