Serious Question (2009, suburbs, relocating)

I was wondering what are some of you BR natives take on Interracial Relationships in the area? My wife and kids and I may be relocating there in 2009 since I may be attending LSU this coming fall. The comfortability of my family has a play a big role in my decision to attend LSU. So if any of you can give me the rundown that would help.

Depends on the part of town - it's way more prevalent than it was when I was growing up. Might be more of an issue north of Fla Blvd.

Will be more of an issue in the conservative suburbs. In the city itself, you should be fine. I see interracial couples often and have friends that are such. It bothers me zero.
