Default Best Private School for My Children? Advice Needed.

My requirements-

1. Cannot be Catholic. Prefer non-religious but could do a Protestant school if necessary so long as it is not Evangelical. So no Catholic Schools and no Evangelical schools

2. Top Sat scores

3. Lots of AP Classes

4. Feeder school for the ivies and ivy equivalents.

5. Prefer a strong foreign language program

6. Cost not an issue.

Looking for both elementary and high school.

Thanks.

Three top high schools meeting your requirements in BR are Episcopal H.S., University H.S.-which is the LSU Lab School (U-High) and Runnels H.S.

I know for a fact EHS regularly sends kids to Ivy League schools and non-Ivy League like UVA, Duke, Emory, Tulane and Stanford. It's college prep and an outstanding one at that. Check em out at ehsbr.org.

EHS and U-High are both class 2A schools meaning grades 9-12 have around 100 students per grade.

Runnels is smaller but still carries a great academic rep. Alumni has attended Holy Cross, American U., Maryland, UVA and Tulane.

Both EHS and Runnels start in kindergarten.

I am in a hurry and can write more later, new to this forum, BUT did you hear "magnet program" in your replies as a wonderful option beyond private schools? Baton Rouge High is magnificent. University High (K-12) is public/hard to get into without connections, but otherwise privately Episcopal and Runnels are where the more educated/astute parents are sending their children. Have you already landed here and placed them somewhere?
