Default Opinions about Woodland Ridge?

We're looking at a house in woodland ridge - appears to be a quiet, safe neighorhood. Mostly older folks, but some young families scattered in. The house is right around the corner from Episopal - which is a plus for us - we're looking at sending our child there. Any insight on the area would be appreciated!

Woodland Ridge is a nice, well established neighborhood. Just remember that it is crazy expensive to send a kid to Episcopal...very, very nice school though.

Yeah I know! Looks like it's also in the St. thomas moore district as well, which is another top choice.

Woodland Ridge itself is a nice upper middle income neighborhood. I want to say it was built in the 70s. Two things to note if you move there: (1) There are three ways in/out of the neighborhood: S Harrell's Ferry, Jones Creek, and S Sherwood Forest, and they can be traffic clogged, (2) Eastgate is a nearby declining neighborhood - and you have some questionable apartments on Newcastle Drive nearby. Fortunately, there is some "buffer zone."

And (like MetroBTR says) Episcopal is a pretty pricey place. I wouldn't put all of your eggs in that basket.
