Default Denham Springs FAQ.

I have the questions, but not the answers.

I'd like to learn as much as I can about Denham Springs.

It seems like a nice little community/town/suburb.

What is it like? Is Denham Springs north of Florida Ave and I-12 different from south?

Any bad neighborhoods, such as neighborhoods that are not well-maintained, have high crime and have too many empty houses?

Is there any single-family home rental market there, or do most folks own?

Thanks.

It's a growing family friendly community that is a (for BR anyway) traffic nightmare for those who work in BR- and the current I-12 widening doesn't help matters in the short term.

The bad neighborhood I've heard of is a small area behind Range Ave/Florida

My impression is most own, but there are some apartments here and there.

Default Range and Florida

From the intersection of Range and Florida, which direction or quadrant contains the less family friendly part of town?

I don't currently live in the area, so, I'll be looking at a map to see the area . . . at least until I get a chance to visit there.
