Best (reasonably nearby) deep-sea fishing (Baton Rouge, Chauvin: prices, food, inexpensive)

Some guys from my husband's work want to take a deep-sea fishing trip. It would be about 10 or so guys and they're looking for something that's not too far of a drive from Baton Rouge so that it can be a one-day thing. Would like for cleaning to be covered in the price (or as an inexpensive add-on) as they are wanting to just fish and relax.

Any suggestions?? What kind of price should we expect (to include gear, ice, fuel, etc.)? They're looking for redfish, yellowfin, amberjack, etc.

not sure of prices, but look into something on Grand Isle. Its far down South on the Gulf coast, but thats probably your best bet. Im not sure of the details though.

Grand Isle, Fourchon, Cocodrie/Dulac. Those are you best choices. Also Venice, but that's way the hell down there at the end of the world.
Grand Isle/Fourchon is 2.5 hours or so.
It's been years since I've been. Went out of Cocodrie, Sportsman Paradise I think was the charter. Usually you can get a daytime or an overnight and you'll get food and a room for the night. Good deal, but it isn't cheap unless you know someone. I like the nighttime fishing best. Plus you get the gulf sunset, and typically fill the limit on fish, specs and reds.
Not sure which tours you would have to look for to do amberjack and yellowfin. I just know those charters are larger and go further out than you would need to for specs and reds.
