They still get the work done for a fraction of the cost and sell you the house for market rate (or even higher) and keeps all the money and buys his 2nd boat or another lake house.
So you should really be blaming (1) the employers and (2) the immigration policies (3) if you have a hole in your fence its your problem. Tighten the doors properly and make sure they dont get in.
For people here its just a matter of inconvenience. For them its a matter of life and death of feeding their famillies.
Disclaimer: I am in no way supporting illegal immigration. I am just putting forward their point of view just for sake of argument. And I strongly support that all illegals should be deported. Period.

For many Americans it is more than an inconvienience, it has taken away their ability to keep a roof over their heads or feed their children because their jobs have replaced them with low wage illegals. It is definitely caused by employers who hire them and people who know about those employers not turning them in for it because it's a friend or relative who is guilty of these hiring practices. They don't want to hurt them by turning them in and seeing them get a fine for these practices but they don't see the problems it creates or they just choose to ignore it because it doesn't affect them personally. I feel for those that have to come here illegally but that doesn't make their being here any less illegal, I have been homeless with my children before and it is such a feeling of hopelessness, however we in this country have seemed to have turned our backs on many of our own citizens and many elderly, veterans and homeless are being shut out of social programs because there is just so many $ to go around to help and before we give it out to illegals I think we need to take care of our own. Lafayette doesn't have that big of a problem right now but if the trends I saw happen in other parts of the country while living there continue here we will be in sad shape in another few years. We should be caring more about our fellow citizens than people who have shown their disrespect for us and our country and it's laws by coming here illegally, I dare say if we went to any of their home countries and tried some of the stuff they do here we would be under the local jail or deported immediately.
