Feed stores tend to have firewood, or at least a supplier. I'd start with
Country Feed , but it looks like they've changed owners so they may not have anything these days.
You can also hit up local timber companies, especially the small ones, and farmers to see about getting a truck load of trees. One of my neighbors used to do this, he'd cut the logs into firewood sized chunks, keep what he needed, then resell the rest at quite a bit of profit. With a full truck load of timber in the under $1000 range, this maybe the way to go.
