Redmond is slighter warmer than Bend, slightly drier. The growing season is a few days longer.

Sun in the summer, snow in the winter.

Winter can run from October to June in some years. Other years it doesnt get cold until Christmas and warms up by early May.

thanks and by cold are you meaning snow every day or just cold weather?
Just trying to get an idea because it's different than weather in the Puget sound.

From a former Puget Sounder....
Compared to the Puget Sound area:
Colder in Winter, Hotter in Summer
But, Dry heat, Dry hot.
MUCH more sunshine in Winter and Spring and you don't get that solid grey and damp from May to the 4th of July season that the Puget Sound gets.
You do trade gray and muddy for smoke and dust.

Biggest transitional surprise for us was how much smoke and dust you have to put up with in the greater Bend area.

And as others have already said, compared to Bend, Redmond gets a bit warmer in the summer, and usually not quite as cold and less snow in the Winter.

You don't have rain rinsing air and everything off like you do in the Puget Sound area. A bit of dust on your driveway in Central Oregon will still be there a couple months later, which is unheard of in the Puget Sound.

Thanks for the feedback! Where in WA did you live?
Yeah as much as we complain about weather around here at least the rain does clean things.
But it does get old when it's June and the June gloom happens.
So with that said, how do you like it there overall?
