Typical July/August temps. By September we will feel the cool down as we slide into fall.

Breaking 100 degrees in August is rare. I can't remember the last time it happened but I'd guess close to 10 years.

Scorching temperatures broil Central Oregon

The Bulletin had an article that said Bend had only hit 100 or higher 34 times since 1901 - something like once every 4 years on average. Seems like that rate is increasing.
