Here's the current lineup of OTA (free) channels we get in Orchidland. If you get additional channels on the East side, can you please post?
Was hard to make the formatting for this work. The bold part is the channel number and network, then a description of the network, then if its not a major network a link to the channel's website, on my computer the link is underlined, YMMV)

TC, I don't live on the BI, but I would like to say thanks for posting this. This is the kind of information
that can be really beneficial to the people living on your side of the island. I also understand it took some time and effort to log the channels and create this post. When you live in the middle of the central Pacific,
this is the kind of info that is incredibly helpful, and it supports the community.
Thanks. I think it's important to let people know there are free alternatives to expensive satellite, cable, and telcom offerings.
After Iselle hit our internet was down so no streaming etc. IF we had any wired options they would have been down too. A lot of the broadcast channels were also down, but we had about 4 channels that were still working.
A good long-range digital TV antenna is under $100, it's a good option to have one even one's household has cable or wired streaming service, because when a big storm hits it may be the only thing working other than a radio. Of course, the power would likely be out too so that is a problem that requires a solution before worrying about news and entertainment.
We live in Keaau near the HS. Haw’n Telcom is our ISP. The only live TV service available is satellite TV, or you could purchase TV service through HULU or YouTube TV. Spectrum doesn’t provide TV service to our subdivision.
Since we have internet service, I subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video and friendly TV for the Hallmark channels. Pluto TV is free and offers a lot of programs.
We purchased an OTA antenna for $70, thinking we could watch “local” channels. The channels listed above are not what is shown in Honolulu, with the exception of HNN. Needless to say, we don’t watch the OTA channels.
Hopefully this will help others be aware of different options out there.
Judy

This is antenna TV, old school stuff, nothing ISP or cable or satellite. If Terracore can get those broadcast channels in Orchidland, you should also be able to get them in Keaau? Not sure where they are broadcast from, Hilo, isn't it? But they should be able to reach you as well.
Over near Honomu on the Hamakua coast, there's places where you can't even get FM radio when driving along the highway, although it's short distances that seem to be in a blackout zone. Not sure if broadcast TV would have the same blackout zones or not, though. Deep in the gulches or horseshoe turns along the coast are more no-broadcast radio locations, but they're of short duration. At least, if one is driving, if you live there, well, then guess broadcast pretty much anything won't work. Hmm, years ago, Waipio valley was the same way, but I dunno how it is now.

I get 15 channels, most of which are from the mainland. I get K5 and KGMB which are local channels. Most of the mainland channels I get for free on Pluto TV. I will say that the reception from our OTA antennae is perfectly clear.
At this point in time, even if Spectrum finally came out here, I have so many free programs to choose from, that I would only get their internet and landline services. I really don’t care for Haw’n Telcom customer service and their internet frequently buffers and freezes.
If your internet is buffering etc there is something wrong and you need a service call. I check our internet speed frequently and it usually exceeds our expectations. Their customer service is slow, but attentive.

I’ve thought about it, but when I have called regarding phone service, they took a few days to call back. When I called about the internet issues, they try to get us to upgrade our service.
I’ll wait a while.
But thanks for your suggestion.
