Not sure where in the world you are, but you posted the 1st one around 10:00pm Hawaii time. Most people here are in bed by then.

A friend who used to live in Discovery Harbor was telling me the golf course isn't used much. He wasn't real clear on what it was doing, but it didn't sound like it was a normal sort of golf course. Something about the golf club house is now the community center although I think you can still play golf on the course, too? I wasn't paying much attention.

He was planning on buying a house in the area and rented there for six months. He then bought a house on the other side of the island. Apparently, in his case, it was just too remote, not that we are that much closer to things here. I guess being forty five minutes from town is a lot better than being an hour and a half from town.

We went to the Green Sand Beach (A+++) last week and made a side stop to see the turtles over at Whittington Beach State Park. The golf course was closed and there were "Closed for Renovation" signs all around the course and buildings. The few condos/houses appeared to be sparsely occupied.
