How old is the budgie? Looks like a female to me based on the color of the cere (the portion at the top the beak where the nostrils are located ).

It's an adult, over 5 months old. Why do you think it's a female?

Looks like a female, although I think it's pretty difficult to tell with a Lutino.

But she's really pretty, Quake.

Hahaha....you guys are WRONG!!! It is, without a doubt, a male budgie, according to budgie experts at the budgies forum.

Wow, that's great that you have experts you can ask! Glad you got an answer.

Makes me wonder why you'd ask here.

Next time you'll know better.

Are you questioning those budgies experts' judgement? Are you, without any doubt, that it's a female?

How does my statement appear to you that I'm questioning your "experts" opinion??

And as I said in my initial answer, Lutinos are really difficult to sex by cere color, as are albinos. So although yours looks like a female, it's not easy to tell.

If it's your bird, it's a pretty one. Good luck with it.

According to those experts at the budgies forum, it's VERY easy to tell and super clear that it is a male. So, you're wrong, just say you're wrong.
