From my experience with both I have never seen any difference between each species in how much they drink. The rule of thumb is always providing an abundant amount of clean water no matter the species.
Not sure how you would compare. If you adjust for size what do you use, weight? Inches? Wingspan? Measure their crop or wherever water goes when they drink?
As an aside, I learned recently that Budgerigar means "Good To Eat" in whatever language it is from.

My conure drinks about 10 times the water as my budgie. 2 times more is understandable, but 10 times more is a little extreme.

Can't explain the amount of water each drinks, like I mentioned just make sure there is always plenty of clean water available and there should be no problems for the birds.
