I am buying a lot in Alabama that had a 95K mortgaged house trailer on it. The lot was part of the original mortgage along with the trailer. it has already been foreclosed on and the mortgage company is moving the trailer and selling me the lot. Does the person who was foreclosed on have to redeem the entire original loan amount of 95K or can they come after me and force me to allow them to redeem only the lot for the price I am paying for it?
