Pinson is east of Birmingham. That's about all I know.

North of Roebuck and Centerpoint, Pinson used to be the first real country area in that direction out of B'ham, and home to more than a few old-time rednecks. Roebuck and Centerpoint have gone downhill, and the fate of Pinson isn't certain. Go more east towards Trussville and there are some new shopping centers closer to the Interstate that circles the city. I suspect that property values there might hold or rise faster than in Pinson. What else about Pinson...? Hmmm. There was a kid on Jeopardy a couple years back who was the great grandkid of the original Pinson. Travelling down Centerpoint Parkway to get to B'ham can be time-consuming.

Default About Pinson

Well, I grew up in the Pinson/Palmerdale area. My family still lives there, but would not really recommend it. The schools are not the greatest. Trussville is better, it is really growing fast. But so are the prices of houses. Same houses in Palmerdale area built buy the government. They(Trussville) got lucky and had the Interstate near by. Would consider Clay over Pinson. If you can't swing Trussville. Trussville has its problems also, like most places.
