Kind of a bi-polar show. He gets fantastic interviews, but his call-in guests are pretty much a collection of knuckle-dragging hayseeds. So during football and recruiting season, I tune in for the interviews and then flip off during the call-in portion of the show. I really depresses me no end that their votes have the same weight as mine on Election Day.

Tho many of the callers are not good...a few are the best I have heard on the radio airwaves. But as Finebaum has said, he lets the callers drive the show. I like that. Tim Brando (weekly guest) also has complimented a couple of Finebaum callers. But, the bad callers are the worst in radio talk.

I like ole Paul. I wonder about some of his callers though (Legend and Tammy). Hate to name names.

Well, the problem isn't that they're total rednecks. Or even that they're totally scripted ahead of time. The problem to me is that they are witless and boring. I mean, these guys make Jerry Springer look like Masterpiece Theatre.
