I'm headed to Dega next week for the race and I'll be staying in Birmingham. I'll be taking 85 south and picking up 20 west in Atlanta. I would love to photograph some of the beautiful Alabama waterfalls while I'm down there. My concern is which ones or are there any close to my route that will have water flowing? Most of the ones I have up here have dried up and nothing is flowing. I'd hate to drive way out of my way to find a dry creek bed. Just curious to see if anyone has any ideas. Thank you!

Only one I know of is DeSoto Falls, near Fort Payne.
Water flow should not be a problem. We've had a fair amount of rain this year, especially in the last week.

Hmmm, no Dean Goss or Al Atwood around here. Northeast Alabama has a few good waterfalls if you start around Mentone and work south. That area west of Hotlanta doesn't have as many.
