Hello everyone. I'll be moving to Birmingham early next year from Spain. We are a family of 5, kids aged 3, 5, and 8. My wife is Spanish but speaks english very well, and my children are borderline bi-lingual (they just need more exposure to english speaking kids). I'll be working out of the Airport with the Air National Guard. We are initially looking to rent although buying is not out of the question completely, I would just like to get a feel for the city before we rush into anything. My housing allowance should be around $1000-1200 per month. We'll be looking for a home in the suburbs with a good school system that's 20-30 min from the airport. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
