Default Moving to Trussville

We are relocating to Trussville in the very near future. We are trying to find something to rent while our house sells in the Charlotte NC area. Where are the best places and the areas that we need to stay away from? I have a daughter that will be transferring to the middle school (6th grade) and I hear that the Trussville City Schools are the best?

Our biggest issue is housing and there does not seem to be an abundance of rental property
