Default Homewood Alabama spa/salon?

I am giving a gift to a friend who lives in Homewood, AL. I would like to get her a gift certificate for a pedicure over there. I live in FL. Can anyone recommend a place that is NICE to get this done?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if you're only looking at Homewood spas, but my mom is in love with the one at Ross Bridge Resort (sorry, the name escapes me) in Hoover. Given her discerning tastes, I'd say that's a recommendation you can take to the bank. Spa Japonika in the Riverchase Galleria mall is a great one as well from what I hear.

I would NOT recommend the spa at the Ross Bridge "Resort". We had a "girls weekend" there back in March for a 40th birthday party. There were about 10of us all getting spa treatments. Several of us received very unsatisfactory service and a letter was sent to the management about it. They did nothing to make any amends for the poor service we received. I will not go there again.

I would avoid Spa Moksha as well.

Not that I'm a big spa monger or anything (although it sounds like it) and maybe I've just been spoiled by the kinds of spas southern california has to offer, but I haven't really been overly thrilled about any of the "spas" out here. Santa Fe Day spa has been satisfactory for my needs so far.
