Default Want to open a Physical Therapy office in Bham area/Suburb--advice for location?

We are relocating to Birmingham and plan to open a Physical Therapy office in the very near future. Do you have any suggestions about areas that would need a PT clinic? We would prefer a Suburb of Bham that is showing good steady growth. We also would like advice about housing areas to look at. We want a house with some land-at least 5 acres. We don't mind driving 30-45 minutes to get to work. School districts are not an issue.

Normally, I would counsel against locating down Highway 280, but that's where your customers will be. And the fact that 280 is difficult to travel on a daily basis makes it ideal for you to provide a convenient location. That, and people driving into Birmingham from outlying counties from the Southeast might see your PT clinic as an excellent resource.

I think the Chelsea area or Helena area would be a good choice. Lot of growth at both cities.
