Default Wouldn't recommend it.

I was born and raised (33yrs) in Pell City which is right down the road and I am proud to be a country boy/hillbilly but unless your really ready to live in Mayberry I'd reconsider. I like the little town personally but unless your used to a very little town you are gonna be miserable. There's no nightlife to speak of without a considerable drive so coming home from a night out is quite a risk if you've had a drink cause they don't play that, not even a little and being from out of they'll be even harder on you if caught. Truley one of those, " roll the streets up after dark kinda towns", unless you alreadt fit in the local bars and ****** tonks can be rather tough if you catch my drift. Come on up but I'd do as the teacher said and consider a different area a little farther up Hwy.280, you'd be much happier and thee drive into Vincent isn't that bad. Check out the areas around Chelsea which is only 15-20 mins away at the most and much closer to a bigger city area of Inverness but still kinda in the country. I now live in Hoover which was an adjustment to me but afforded a lot more opportunities for my family. Don't get me wrong though my friend, there's nothing quite like only hearing the crickets and the breeze, I still head back out to the woods all the time, if you adjust easily and just really are looking for a very small town than you'll love it.

Vincent is a small quaint town--it is l close to several larger cities and is very close to the river if you like the outdoors
