You have posted quite a few pie in the sky ideas, but this one takes the cake.

You can't actually be serious.

Hyperloop? You mean like the one that probably doesn't even really have the demand to connect San Francisco to Los Angeles?

And you think there is enough of a demand to build two hyperloops out of the south side of Birmingham to connect to where exactly? Auburn? Montgomery?

Laughable.

Completion of the Lakeshore extension to 459 along with the widening of Morgan Rd could potentially be an alternative route for those coming from the Shelby County burbs to Birmingham.

Yeah. I'm thinking that a hyperloop is a bit of overkill. A nice trolley line connecting Birmingham neighborhoods and the inner suburbs wouldn't be, however.

How far is Morgan Rd to be widened, and would a connection with Morgan Rd eliminate a Lakeshore interchange?

Im not sure. Maybe from 459 to the Shelby County line? Also don't think there was any plans for a lakeshore interchange on 459. The Lakeshore extension is supposed link with Morgan Rd just north of 459.
