Default Homeless in Birmingham

I've been checking on here for over six months for a new place to move around the Birmingham area , Most places are way out of our price range or just simply no reply , today is 03/22/08 and my family has to be out of here by midnight 03/31/08 . My son and his family have moved in to help out with bills so there are 4 working adults and 3 children , 13, 7 and 4 . I can't even begin to image being Homeless but as of now there is no light at the end of this tunnel for me .Any suggestions at this point would be GREATLY Apprecatied , I don't want to have to but my children in another school districts ( Shades Valley & Grantswood) this close to the end of the school year , nor do I want them to have to leave their friends , But we will have to do whatever we will have to do ! Please someone out here has to know a friend of a friend or someone with at least 4 bedrooms /2baths resonable rent better yet rent to own , I see so many houses up and down the niebhorhood for sale but wouldn't it make more sense to have it for rent and having and income coming in then just sitting there empty hoping the real estate business will start coming down ? Please give some input here i'm running out of ideas , And i'm not saying i'm to proud to be homeless it's just my children don't need to have to be . Thanks for listening .

Really and truly, this is hardly the best place to look for an actual house or apartment! You might want to get an apartment in your children's school area, temporarily, just to get you through the rest of the school year. That would give you a place to go and some time to find something perfect.
Good luck and God bless!

Did you check out craigslist.com? Might find something there.
