Default how safe is the Cahaba Park Circle? and this hotel?

Can anyone tell me about the La Quinta Inn Birmingham?

Its located at 513 Cahaba Park Circle, Birmingham, AL 35242.

Is this in a good, fairly safe area? what about the surrounding areas?
Is it more suburban or busier? Would this be a good place for a single female to camp out when visiting the town for a week?

I wil be grateful for any opinions whether you've been there, heard any news about it or passed by and saw it?

Thanks

I know nothing about the hotel's quality, although this is a nice part of town along a busy highway. As far as crime is concerned, the area's about as safe as your mother's womb. Almost zero crime happens in that area.

Across from Target and down the street from the Summit...it's a great place for power shopping! Lots of traffic in that area. Keep your door locked and your wits about you, and you should be fine.
