Do you know Chelsea? Good place for Families?
My family and I are looking for a new home in the Birmingham area with excellent schools, lots of community, sports for the kids, good library, basically a Norman Rockwell town
 . Is Chelsea such a town? Any suggestions? PS: Escaping from Florida!

Chelsea, Al.? Never heard of it, but Alabama is very hot unless u can get near to the coast to cool off. And then you have to deal with the dreadful "H" word.

Is Chelsea Good for Families
Yes Chelsea is a very family oriented Town We have Great Centrally located Schools and A great police force (though they are mostly for events) not much crime. there are lots of new houses and developments and new money coming into Chelsea right now. theres a recreational park as well as three football fields, at least nine baseball fields, and at least 5 soccer fields most of which are public use some are for organized team sports which are very big in this area. Its a very convenient town with a grocery store and a newly built Wal-Mart, fast food restaurants, and several family restaurants, and a family friendly sports-bar. and a pharmacy is being built as i type this as well as a newly built auto parts store. I hope i have helped you make a decision about Chelsea. And We hope to see you soon.

I would agree that Chelsea is a very nice town. Most people that live there absolutely love it.
