I don't want to get all misty here but I thought you should know...
I live on the Fl. gulf coast and we have a huge population of vacationers. It seems whenever i meet someone who is genuine, down to earth and not behaving as if us locals owe them in some way for their "company", they seem to be from Birmingham. I don't understand what y'all are doin' up there...but keep doin' it. Don't think I haven't met some great folks from other places but I will say that I haven't met anyone from Birmingham that it wasn't a pleasure to know. I really need to make the trip up there!

I'm curious, how is real estate holding up in the 30-A area ?

I know parts of peninsular Florida have been in a mess trying to sell anything.

Sales are slow like the rest of the country, but there seems to be a large number of cash deals right now. Of course if you're familiar with 30A then you know the high property values/rental rates here. They are down some but I think percentagewise not as much as most areas. It's a great place to be no matter what.
