I grew up mainly in the West Grand area then moved to Wyoming. Most of my family is in the Cedar Springs/Sand Lake area now and my dad spent many a year staying in Howard City.

i would look into hoover by rocky ridge road and columbiana. homewood has some cute places over by samford. good luck!

My husband is in Alabama and staying at the apt we picked with the help of his company HR person. Seven months is not bad to stay anywhere, and we are not all that far away from a big shopping mall, Galleria is that what it is?

i moved from NC to Birmingham about 2 years ago, I moved into Barrington on the Green and have enjoyed it thus far, its in hoover right beside the mall also.
