I would try UAB International Students section. I know that there are some Brasilians studying there. In fact, at my children's previous school, there was a Brasilian doctor and his wife. I just cannot recollect their name.

barely any. i know a few brazilians if you need contacts. the international house is indeed, probably a good place to go.
