The Bessemer/McCalla area is a fast growing area. There is a new shopping center that just open in July. as well as an outlet mall and water park less then 10 mins away. The area is also looking into doing zoneing for a village comunity around Eastern Valley Road and Pocahontas Road.
The Bessemer/McCalla area is where I 459 and the I 20/59 meet and even during rush hour, Downtown Birmingham is 20 mins via I-20/59 and the mall in Hoover is 15 mins via I-459
I live in McCalla and will be more then happy to mail you a packet of infrom from this area.
