Best plastic surgeon in B'ham? (for nose job)
I live a couple hours from Birmingham, so I'm not familiar with any plastic surgeons. Do you know of any good ones? If you know of a bad one, that info. would be helpful also. Or, do you know of any websites that provide patient's ratings?
I've been wanting a nose job for a decade, and I've started to seriously consider it lately. I think I'm ready to go for it! It is so scary though. If I knew for sure that I was in good hands, I think that would help. Thanks!  |

what a joke!
going to b'ham for plastic surgery is like going to the car dealership for groceries:
you're going to the wrong place!
you def. want to look around in the big cities b/c usually the best ones reside there b/c more people + more liberal culture in the big cities = more people getting plastic surgery = more money = more plastic surgeons = better chance of getting a good plastic surgeon!
try ATL, NY, CHI, LA, etc

You're 19. What do you know about plastic surgery? If you think not that many people in your area have had plastic surgery...it just means that the surgeons there are very, very good!
Birmingham is a major medical training area, and UAB turns out a large number of plastic surgeons. Somebody good is bound to be out there.

Don't be a bonehead. Actually Birmingham is one of the leading cosmetic surgery centers in the country. Several specialists do an active trade in people flying out from LA to get the discreet nose job and tuck. |

Dr. Ben Johnson is a great Dr. in Birmingham. He does all his procedures in a local hospital and his nurses are available when needed.
